FileMaker Pro can be easily used to
create many specialist systems that Will be sold to the public as
end user applications. Its' web capabilities and excellent graphic
abilities make it a prime choice for many 'off-the-shelf' products.
For example the business management system Valiano
- which we have developed for FujiFilm-ISIG - is a Filemaker Pro
project that comes in several versions including a bound standalone
version, a multiuser version, and a web server version.
This project is of special interest
because it has the ability to scan the operators computer for keyboard
/ document activity. Once a document is closed the time worked and
various other pieces of information are automatically fed to the
Filemaker Pro system which keeps a track of costs, materials, etc,
etc...
