Microsoft's Access Databases

Access is one of the most popular 'end user' databases in use today. Access is excellent at number crunching, and at interacting with a variety of other databases and applications via the Visual Basic programming language and the ActiveX control system.

Access is a PC only product that can be put to a great many uses, especially web databases via the Sql programming language.

Databases built using Access interact well with the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel, and other Microsoft programs such as Back Office.
